Wednesday January 18, 2012 Progressive Congress News will join the Internet Blackout to stop SOPA and PIPA.

In solidarity with the bloggers and websites whose voices enrich our policy news and analysis, we join the call to keep the internet free, open and accessible.

There will be no news blasts on Thursday morning.

Progressive Congress News is a carefully curated policy news service developed to assist legislative staff in combating information overload. This same content is made available to the public in the spirit of transparency, enabling Congressional staff and the public to have a shared world view.

Progressive Congress News curation is available via a variety of channels to best fits your needs. Each policy area we cover has a
Twitter feed which streams a daily selection of policy news.

On this page, you may also subscribe to our daily email newsletters. These are sent to subscribers each morning, for each of the areas listed below. Please keep the following in mind:

  1. Newsletters are sent 7 days per week, with the occasional exception for holidays.  Monday mornings contain a weekend round-up. Tuesday through Saturday, we bring you the top policy headlines from the previous day.  On Sundays, we provide The Week In Review.
  2. We occasionally send out breaking news alerts about particularly important policy news stories.
  3. You will receive one email for each area to which you subscribe.  If you prefer to just receive a general overview of all of the areas, please choose the Summary newsletter.

Concerns, questions, or feedback should be sent to news@progressivecongress.org
